The Arcani Ledger, Vol. II, Part Two

Just when you thought it was over, we return. I mentioned that a lot of good things happened last week, and I was not fibbing. We did indeed start production on Damage Control.

I'll wait until the applause dies down. Thank you.

Continuing on, our reliable documentarian/shutterbug Ian Davis popped by Saturday, March 21st to take some pictures of our first big day as independent filmmakers. Some of you might be wondering if the film is to look as good as the photos. Here's the short answer: yes. The film is going to be shot in color, and all the textures will really show. I don't need to say that it was hard work, but I will go on record and say that fun was had all around. Ian captured some of these moments from a very important day in the lives of both crew and cast. Since Ian took so many high-quality photos, I will divide them by type. The first batch of posted photos are black & white only. The color set is to follow in yet another volume of The Arcani Ledger. Enjoy.

Phillip Marunowski plays the lead.

Jeremy Buckhalt is the director.

Phil takes direction from the boss.

On location at Full Sail University.

He got some good coverage.

Phil's staring down the beast.

Kyle's in his getup. I'm on sound.

A real actor watches his caloric intake.

Boom.

I assure you we're all having fun.

You can see the plant vase.

Troy Stull is a supporting character.

Phil likes plants.

Phil noir.

Yes, we're shooting for widescreen.

This is the only way to know if a take is good: he smiles.

It's an intense scene.

He'd better be reading the script.

Three planes of talent.

Getting some input.

The ceiling is nice and high.

"Sir? You wanted to see me?"

Phil is phun.
