Status report!

I can divulge a bit more information regarding the film.

We watched these for inspiration:
The Breakfast Club
Fast Times At Ridgemont High
Waiting...
Empire Records

I can say that it's not a high school movie, but will be modeled after 80s comedies. It will be light-hearted and fun and will feature something new for the comedy genre.

I'm still researching if we can get our title and finishing the first draft, then it's off to the copyright office. After that, we can start showing off our preliminary artwork...as soon as it's drawn!

New script update

Hey, folks. Things here have been rather busy, and I'll break things down easy:

1. A new comedy script is in drafting phase. The story writers are Derek Marunowski, Jeremy Buckhalt, and Chad Coup (me). The screenplay is going to be written by Ian Davis and I, with input from Derek and Jeremy.

2. We are currently watching retro and modern comedies for inspiration, though I can't tell you which ones right now. We're taking serious notes in order to maximize our script.

3. We have a title, but we have to make sure we can own the name; once we have a finished script, we can reveal the title, synopsis, and all that mess.

4. We aim to spend the rest of this year doing serious pre-production in order to roll one year from now.

Status update

It's been a while, folks. Sorry for the long silence. Yes, the movie is done. Some have seen it already and have given us some very useful feedback. We sent the finished product to a few Florida-only film festivals for screening this year, and we'll update you when we hear any news.

On a second note, we're working on a comedy script, and it should be the complete and total opposite of our first feature in every way. We've really stepped up our game since then. More later!

Post-production update #10 plus new trailer!

Hey, folks. ADR is done and new it's all sound mixing and effects. It's going pretty well. We're looking at sometime in November to have a cast/crew/family member screening. In the meantime, here is the link to the second official trailer that was edited by Jeremy and features music by Paul Nils Olsen.
